Below are some activities and routes you might enjoy on an e-bike.
1. Coastal Rides
Take advantage of the scenic Pacific coastline with a leisurely ride along Carlsbad Boulevard (Highway 101). Enjoy the ocean views, cool breezes, and numerous beach access points where you can stop and take in the scenery.
2. Visit Carlsbad Village
Explore Carlsbad Village on your e-bike. The village is filled with shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Park your e-bike and wander through the quaint streets, grab a bite to eat, or enjoy a coffee at one of the local cafés.
3. Batiquitos Lagoon Trail
Ride to Batiquitos Lagoon, a beautiful nature preserve with well-maintained trails. While the trails themselves are more suited to walking, you can ride your e-bike to the lagoon and enjoy a peaceful hike, observing the local wildlife and taking in the natural beauty.

4. South Carlsbad State Beach

7. Aviara Golf Club and Resort

8. Local Farmers’ Markets
Visit one of the local farmers’ markets. The State Street Farmers’ Market in Carlsbad Village is a great spot to pick up fresh produce, artisan goods, and enjoy the lively atmosphere. They’re open on Wednesdays. On Thursday, Oceanside has a Farmer’s Market during the day, and at night there’s the Sunset Market with an emphasis on food, artisan goods, and live music. Cardiff (Encinitas) has their market on Saturdays and Leucadia (Encinitas) has their market on Sunday mornings. An e-bike makes it easy to get to these markets and carry your purchases home.

9. Wine Tasting
